Tap the small refresh icon next to "Rates Updated on..." at the top of the converter. It fetches the latest available rate instantly and updates the date and time shown, so you always know exactly when your rate was last refreshed.

It's a web app, so there's no app store involved, and once installed it works offline too.
Yes, once installed as an app it works offline, though rates won't refresh until you're back online. For how to install the app, please check the FAQ just above this.
You don't have to do anything. FxRate24 updates itself automatically, the next time you open the app after we release a new version, it quietly switches to the latest version in the background, keeping everything you had.
No. FxRate24 doesn't require sign-up or login and doesn't collect personal data.
Very little, around 200 KB (0.2 MB) in total, smaller than a single photo. Even after installing, it stays under 1 MB.
Every time you open the app, or tap the small refresh icon next to "Rates Updated on..." at the top, FxRate24 pulls the latest available rate live and shows exactly when it was fetched. The underlying data source itself typically updates about once a day, so the actual values may stay the same across checks within the same day, but the "Rates Updated on" note always tells you exactly when it was last fetched.

FxRate24 shows a reference exchange rate only, it doesn't include the fees, spreads, commissions or margins that banks, card providers, forex counters and money-transfer services add on top. Always confirm the exact rate with them before a transaction. See our Disclaimer.
No. FxRate24 is a currency converter for information only, it doesn't process payments, transfers or currency purchases, and it isn't a remittance or forex trading service. For an actual transaction, use your bank, card provider or a money-transfer service.
Yes. Select your starting currency and the currency you want to convert to, and FxRate24 calculates the equivalent amount instantly for all supported currencies. Need to check several currencies at once? Use Bulk Currency Converter from the menu, tick up to 7 currencies and compare them all together.
After choosing your two currencies, tap the currency row (flag/code) you want to enter the amount in, it highlights as the active field. Then use the number pad below to type in your figure; the other two currencies update instantly.
Tap the round arrows icon at the top-left of the converter. It instantly swaps your From and To currencies, for example India to Indonesia becomes Indonesia to India, without retyping anything.
Exchange rates are pulled live from a third-party foreign-exchange data provider every time you open or refresh the app. The provider itself typically updates its figures about once a day.
Not at the moment. FxRate24 shows only the latest available exchange rate, fetched fresh live each time you open or refresh the app, it doesn't keep a rate history or trend charts.
